We love organizing African Honeymoons ATA ’ve done thousands of them, and we’re very good at them.  Our in-depth knowledge and experience of all the different lodges and suppliers (both on safari and at the beach) enable us to work with you to create a honeymoon itinerary that is perfect for you, whether it be remote and rustic or chic and luxurious, and whatever your preferences and budget…  There is a bit more to itinerary planning than you might think; the ‘shape’ of the itinerary is essential.  We like to arrange things such that each place you stay is a little better than the last, so you never suffer that nagging feeling that the last place you visited was better than the current one.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport you will be met by   our ATA safari manager and your hotel in Arusha, at the lodge you will have detailed safari briefing. HB inclusive

Day 2: Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at your Hotel departing for Ngorongoro and descend into the Crater for a wonderful game drive. The driving is at the base of the Great Rift Valley & up to the rim, you will stop for great view of Lake Manyara & the forest before driving up to the highlands of Ngorongoro. At the Ngorongoro gate you will do some registration and drive up to the Crater view point for picture of the crater floor from the rim. Then you will ascend 600 meter high wall into the Crater floor for wonderful game drive (packed lunch will be served at the Crater floor).

Ngorongoro Crater often defined as one of the wonders of the world, it is rather the world’s largest intact and unfolded volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is among few places where the rare black rhino living their natural habitats. You may also expect to sport elephants, zebras, hippos, wildebeest, zebra, Topi, eland, warthog & many antelopes.

This picturesque park has a dense population of predators which include lion, jackals, hyena, cheetahs & the ever mysterious leopard that needs sharp eyes to sport. You will visit Lake Magadi larger but shallow alkaline Lake at the southwest corner of the Crater where some flocks of flamingos & hippos are frequently visit this lake. Later drive out of Ngorongoro Conservation area & overnight at the beautiful Lake Manyara Panorama Camp site.

Day 3 – Manyara National park – Zanzibar

After breakfast, we will drive to Lake Manyara via Maasai village. The Park derives its name from the Maasai word Manyara, which is the name for the plant Euphorbia Tirucalli, a plant the Maasai people use to grow livestock stockades. Manyara produce a stockproof hedge, which is very durable among other similar kinds. A specimen of Euphorbia tirucalli can be found at the entrance of the gate.

The Great Rift Valley belong in the faultline in the earth’s crust which stretches 8,000 kilometers (4,971 miles) from Turkey to the mouth of the Zambezi River in Mozambique. The fault is so massive that when astronauts landed on the moon the Rift Valley was clearly visible to them. In the afternoon, you will be taken to the Airport for your flight back home.

In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha / Manyara to catch flight to Zaznibar

Day 4

Arrive at the Zanzibar Airport with flight from Manyara / Arusha Air Evening  flight for Zanzibar beach holiday Tour and transfer to the Zanzibar Beach Resort for dinner and overnight Half board

Day 5 –  Zanzibar Dolphin Tour

After breakfast, drive to the South and take the Dolphin excursion, with lunch on the way. In the late evening, drive to Stone Town and overnight at the Zanzibar Serena Inn Half board
This full day tour takes you to Kizimkazi along the south-west coast of Zanzibar. There is a fair chance you will get to watch them up close and personal.

Day 6: Zanzibar Stone Town – Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, take a half day walk in Stone Town for shopping, and after lunch at a restaurant in Stone Town, drive to the airport in the afternoon to catch your flight to Dar es Salaam and your international flight home.
